I have been an editor and writer for over ten years and currently act as an editorial consultant for authors, agents and publishers. For over eight years I worked as an Acquisitions Editor for Simon & Schuster, under the imprint of Atria Books and Washington Square Press.
Recent authors I've worked with include Dominick Dunne, Robert K. Tanenbaum, Jilliane Hoffman, Teresa Rodriguez, Kevin Davis, Alison Clement, Peter Alson and Mara Leveritt.
I specialize in thrillers and narrative nonfiction that focus on crime and the courts, as well as memoirs and literary fiction. But as you can see from my projects page, I've collaborated on successes in a variety of genres. In terms of editing, I focus my attention on concept positioning, editing and book doctoring. With years as an in-house editor, I have a reputation for shaping manuscripts and book proposals into marketable products.
